A new oral approach to safe and effective weight loss
Being overweight is more than a cosmetic concern; it is closely linked to serious health conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, stroke, sleep apnoea, and cancer. While many factors contribute to weight gain, including diet, lack of physical activity, genetics, and other physiological factors, the need for effective, safe, and accessible weight loss options has never been greater.
Current weight loss treatments can be expensive, difficult to access, or unsuitable for long-term use. This weight loss trial is evaluating an investigational oral capsule taken one to three times daily. We aim to assess its safety and tolerability across different dose levels, schedules, and formulations, and exploring whether it can produce meaningful changes in body weight and composition.
There is a greater than 85% chance of receiving the investigational treatment rather than a placebo, making this one of the most participant-favourable trial designs available.
Eligibility
Do you qualify for the weight loss trial?
Aged 18 or older
BMI between 25 and 29.99 (not sure of your BMI? Check here)
No diabetes (HbA1c < 6.5%)
Used weight loss drugs or antidiabetic agents in the last 6 months
In good general health

Eligible participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational oral capsule or a placebo, with a greater than 85% chance of receiving the active treatment. The capsule is taken one to three times daily, with dose levels, schedules, and formulations assessed throughout the study. Body weight changes and body composition will be monitored at regular visits at our clinic.
