About this trial

A potential new treatment to protect your kidneys from diabetes-related damage

Toenail fungus, also known as onychomycosis, is a common condition caused by a fungal infection of the toenail. It typically causes discolouration, thickening, and crumbling of the nail, and can affect daily comfort, footwear choices, and overall quality of life. Mild-to-moderate cases are widespread, yet effective treatments that are easy to use and well tolerated remain limited.

This trial is evaluating a new investigational topical solution that may offer a convenient and effective treatment option for people living with mild to moderate toenail fungal infection, applied simply at home once or twice daily, without the need for frequent clinic visits.

Examples of onychomycosis:
Toenail fungus trial
Unlike many clinical trials, this treatment is a topical solution you apply yourself at home once or twice daily, making it one of the most convenient trial commitments available, with only 7 clinic visits over 48 weeks.
